I DO!   It gives me the warm fuzzies!

  All our dogs at KD's Black Mouth Curs are proven.  Preservation of the breed is our main objective!  These Curs are rough.  It could be shutting down a wild boar or working rank cattle.  Whatever it takes, the job get's done.  We breed for DRIVE, TEMPERMENT, INTElLEGENCE AND WORKING ABILITY.  We only breed a dog after it has proven itself, exhibiting instincts and skills to be exceptional.  We have raised the bar.  We feel this is key in producing exceptional working dogs (some sound advice from the man that breed and produced Weatherford Ben, Ben Jorden himself).  Typically these pups want to start working early, any where from 8 to 16 weeks old.  In our yard, a dog has to earn the right to breed.  We have sold over 400 pups and not one unsatisfied customer! These pups are scattered in 10 different states (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, Utah, Florida and California).
